The effect of exercise on the amount of estrogen in patients with advanced breast cancer risk
In this study; 139 patients with high risk of developing breast cancer in premenopausal period were examined. These patients received 5 hours of exercise per week for 5 months.
At the end of this period, it was found that the amount of estrogen decreased in blood and urine measurements compared to the patients who had short-term exercise.
Another striking finding is that there was a significant reduction in the amount of breast tissue. They performed this measurement by Breast MRI and showed that the amount of breast tissue decreased significantly at the end of the period.
It is a study showing that planned and effective exercises affect the amount of estrogen in women and naturally reduce the risk of breast cancer.
